Join Karina from Whittle and Weave to create your very own berry basket.

Over the day she will immerse you in the timeless art of basketry.

Working with willow sustainably harvested in the UK, you will learn several traditional basketry techniques including a pairing weave, three rod wale and a trac border.

These small baskets are the ideal size for gathering berries - perfect for your next blackberry forage.

This course is designed for complete beginners and is a great introduction to basket weaving.

Within the Visitor Centre is the Crags Café which sells a range of light savouries, delicious cakes as well as hot and cold beverages, perfect for your lunch break. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.
