"The Vintage Treat"

The wonderful "Old Gentleman's Saloon", featured in "The Railway Children", will be conveyed on selected trains on the August Ban Holiday weekend. This historic carriage is rarely seen outside of the museum, and offers a superb view of the line through it's panaromic windows.

You can book a place for a full round trip of the line in the Saloon - and you can enjoy a glass of Prosecco (or Orange Juice), and a delicious Summer Berry Eton Mess, served to you during the journey. A real treat whilst travelling in luxury!

The supplement is £9.99 per passenger (Adult or Child), in addition to the Rover ticket price. The all inclusive ticket price is shown below - which includes a Rover Ticket which is valid for unlimited travel in standard class before and after your Vintage Treat journey, and also includes entry to Rail Story at Ingrow. Your Vintage Treat journey may only be taken at the time you choose. Each "The Vintage Treat" journey starts at OXENHOPE station.
